Cincinnati Bengals Franchise Stacy Andrews

The Cincinnati Bengals decided today to make offensive lineman Stacy Andrews there franchise player which will pay him $7.4 million this season. Andrews started 14 games for the Bengals and played all 16 this past season due to injuries from other starters such as right tackle Willie Anderson. The Bengals can only use the franchise tag once which means Justin Smith’s career as a Bengal could be over as its believed he’s asking far too much than he’s worth.

Would have rather kept M. Williams and let Stacy fly the coup if they couldn’t wrap up a deal with him.
