The Cincinnati Bengals today released Rudi Johnson, Willie Anderson along with Deltha O’Neil and 8 rookies. Jeff Rowe was also cut giving Jordan Palmer the 3rd string quarterback position. Ahmad Brooks was another noticeable player who was released after being pushed to take over ex-Bengal player Odell Thurman’s position. Check inside to see all of the released players.

Chad Johnson Changes Name to Chad Ocho Cinco

According to Miami 790 The Ticket, which is located in Chad’s hometown of Miami is reporting that his name has officially been changed to Chad Ocho Cinco which has been rumored for weeks now. Chad will now be able to wear Ocho Cinco on the back of his jersey and reporters will now have to refer to him as Chad Ocho Cinco. As NFL players get a percentage of jersey sales we have to believe this is why Chad decided to do this besides the fact that the guy is a clown wanting attention.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer will not play tomorrow night against the Indianapolis Colts but will be ready for the Sept. 7th season opener against the Baltimore Ravens. Palmer suffered his broken nose against the Saints last Sunday when the offensive line gave up 3 sacks in the first half.
