Sources from espn, bengals.com, and profootball.com are all indicating that free agent WR Terrell Owens will prehaps become a Cincinnati Bengal. Cincinnati offered T.O. a contract so now all eyes are on him whether he accepts the offer or not. Bengals president and owner Mike Brown said the following about the situation, “We have interest. We are talking to him.” If all goes well T.O. should except the offer and be at training camp which starts on Thursday, however what will it mean for receivers Cosby, Simpson, and Briscoe if T.O. accepts the Bengals offer. Sources around the NFL including ESPN’s Adam Schefter are reporting that the Bengals are interested in pursuing Broncos WR Brandon Marshall. If so the Bengals would only have to give up there 1st round pick in the 2010 draft which in this case is the 21st pick. The Bengals are in need of another receiver because once you get past Ochocinco and Caldwell you don’t have much experience. Also the if the Bengals were to draft a receiver in the draft they aren’t guaranteed to develop into a genuine NFL receiver, so why not give up the first round pick for an already young established receiver. ESPN and Bengals.com sources have announced that former Jaguars 2005 first round draft pick, receiver is has agreed to come to Cincinnati. Jones agreed to a one year contract worth $700,000. Chad has talked about wearing 15 tomorrow against the Chargers in remembrance of Chris Henry who passed away Thursday. Breaking news out of Cincinnati, reciever Chris Henry has died after a tragic car accident in a domestic dispute with his fiance while he was trying to get into the back of a pick up truck in Charlotte, NC. Chris will be always remembered and loved in Cincinnati. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bengals.com and Espn.con are reporting that WR Chris Henry was in a life threatening car accident including his fiance. Bengals.com is stating that he is in critical conditon and on life support. Also Espn is reporting that Chris and his fiance were having a domestic dispute and that Chris was trying to get in the back of the truck that his fiance was driving and he got thrown out of the back of the truck. Sources say that the injury he sustained was to the head.
As soon as I hear more information I will post it as soon as possible. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and his family along with the Bengals organization.
