Dear Mr. Brown,

Probably every Bengals fan has heard or either seen that the organization is interested in T.Old, Antonio Bryant, and Brandon Marshall. But here’s the thing, there is only one receiver that actually help us in the long run and I think we all know who that is, Brandon Marshall.

This decision of picking up Marshall should be a piece of cake. Even the NFL analysts say Marshall would be a perfect fit for Cincinnati. So why don’t you just give up the first round pick for a proven NFL receiver instead of trying to draft one that may not develop into the kind of receiver we need, seeing that you already made that mistake two years ago passing up DeSean Jackson and drafting Jerome Simpson. I’m not saying that T.Old won’t help us or even Antonio Bryant but there is issues with both of them. First of all T.Old is 36 and is getting slower coming off the line of scrimmage, also you have to think about all the chaos he has brought to the other teams he played for. Then you have Antonio Bryant, he’s a good receiver when he’s healthy, but the fact that he’s injury proned could hurt us more than he could help us. So ask yourself Mr. Brown, what’s going to help us in the long run, is it going to signing a great old receiver for one year or maybe signing an ok receiver that it’s going to hurt us when he gets hurt, or you could go with the smart choice and go with Brandon Marshall who has just begun his great career and will help keep the Bengals on top of the AFC North and NFL for years to come. So I’m going to speak for myself and the rest of Bengals Nation, give up the first round pick and sign Brandon Marshall because most likely we’ll regret it at the end of next season.

                                                                                                         Sincerely,

                                                                                                    Ethan McDaniel

Sources around the NFL including ESPN’s Adam Schefter are reporting that the Bengals are interested in pursuing Broncos WR Brandon Marshall. If so the Bengals would only have to give up there 1st round pick in the 2010 draft which in this case is the 21st pick. The Bengals are in need of another receiver because once you get past Ochocinco and Caldwell you don’t have much experience. Also the if the Bengals were to draft a receiver in the draft they aren’t guaranteed to develop into a genuine NFL receiver, so why not give up the first round pick for an already young established receiver.

Also the Bengals are interested in 36 year old receiver Terrell Owens and 28 year old Antonio Bryant who is the youngest decent receiver left in free agency and is expected to be in Cincinnati for a visit on Tuesday.

In other notes, free agent DT Tank Johnson has almost reached a deal and will once again be wearing stripes this coming up season.

Also Adam “Pacman” Jones worked out for the Bengals on Thursday, so it only time will tell if the Bengals are interested and sign him too. And sources from ESPN have also said that the Bengals have been watching and snooping on recently reinstated receiver Donte’ Stallworth who recently got cut by the Browns.

It’s against NFL policies to change your number during the season, but who cares right. Chad has talked about wearing 15 tomorrow against the Chargers in remembrance of Chris Henry who passed away Thursday. The NFLPA said they would back Chad and pay any fine thrown his way for wearing #15 but they later found out they couldn’t.

The fine Chad could face if he wears the jersey could be pretty hefty, but Chad doesn’t care, he’s just doing it to honor Chris, he’s not trying to get attention like people are saying, theway I see it, Chad is doing his way of grieving. Personally I support Chad 100% and I hope he does end up wearing #15. Also if Chad scores, his celebration will be what Chris always did, throw the ball up in the air as high as he can throw it.

10. For the Bengals not having to worry about Pittsburgh or Baltimore making the playoffs.

9. For Chad to reach 10,000 career receiving yards this year.

8. See Carson go deep more often.

7. For Ced to get 1,300+ yards rushing this season.

6. See Carson, Chad, Ced, Leon, JJoe, Jeremi Johnson, Andrew Whitworth, and Robert Geathers make it to the Pro Bowl.

5. For the defense to be #1 overall in rush defense and in the top five overall defense.

4. See Chad do the Icky Shuffle as a TD celebration.

3. Finish out the season 12-4 if not 13-3 with the bye and the second in the AFC.

2. To play Indy in the AFC Championship game and beat them to advance to the Super Bowl.

1. To see the Bengals in the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl.

Well the time is here again. Yes, once again it is time to play the Pittsburgh Steelers, but this time in Pittsburgh. Like last time it could possibly come down to the end, and that means it could come down to who has the ball with two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

As of lately the Bengals have been moving on forward on all cylinders but so has the Steelers who have won five straight since the loss to Cincinnati. If the Bengals are going to win this game theirs going to be several keys for them to do that.

1.) Staying with the run. The Bengals are going to have to keep giving Ced the ball so they can get the play action going and he’s going to need more than 17 carries maybe even more than 30.

2.) Keeping the Steelers Defense guessing so the O-line can make holes for Ced or letting Carson have time to find a target.

3.) Get the ball to Chad and Andre.

4.) The Defense has to step up. With Keith Rivers out players like Brandon Johnson and Rey Maualuga are going to have to step up and make some plays, and the D-line is going to have to get pressure up front so they can stop Mendenhall from running and Big Ben from throwing accurately.

5.) Last but not least, Leon and JonJoe got to keep the passing yards down. Hopefully one of the two will pick off Ben like last time and get the momentum going for the Bengals.

This game most likely will be a low scoring game in which i predict the Bengals will win 17-10. That’s all for now, Who Dey!

After a stunning loss to the Houston Texans the Bengals were looking for a victory to stay on top of outstanding AFC Division, but who actually knew that it was going to be a blow out against a good Chicago Bears team. Even when the so called experts said Cincinnati would lose but once again they would be wrong again just like they had been when the Bengals played a tough Pittsburgh and Baltimore team.

Everyone was calling this game the Benson Bowl, knowing how Chicago abandend Ced and this was his first game against the team that had cut him a few years ago, and sure enough it was the Benson Bowl, Ced ran all over the Bears 39 times and they tried there best to stop him but they couldn’t, giving him 188 yards for and average of 5 yards per carry. But it wasn’t just Ced who had a good game, but also Chad and Carson. Carson led the Bengals lethal airel game just like back in the day before his elbow injury occured. Carson ended his day 20-24 throwing for 233 yards and a season high 5 TDs. Chad on the other hand had his second 100 yard receiving game since 2007, going for 118 yards on 10 receptions with 2 TDs. At the end of the day Cincinnati won 45-10 and Ced once again became the NFL leading rusher.
