After a comeback drive to win the game the unbelievable happened. The Bengals defense had looked great all day until they allowed a miracle touchdown from Broncos QB Kyle Orton to receiver Brandon Stokley. Here are some after math notes I took during the game.
1.) The defense looked unbelievable keeping the Broncos under 200 yds. and keeping key receivers like Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal under 50 yds. But it wasn’t until the last play for the Broncos that killed the Bengals for there shot of winning the game. So for my conclusion overall the defense played great and the last play was only a 1 in 1,000,000 chances that Stokley would of caught it.
2.) Carson and Chad are back. Even though Carson had two interceptions he still looked great after missing all but four games last season and most of the preseason and getting the ball to Chad was relatively easy for him. As for Chad, he looked like he was back to his old form catching the ball six time for 86 yds. and overall he really impressed me. So in conclusion Carson was a little rusty but give him time and he’ll be back on track.
3.) Ced Benson looked amazing. Ced was all over the place weather it was running the ball or catching the the ball from Carson. I believe this could be a career year for Ced as long as he stays healthy and the O-line keeps making holes for him.

I honestly think I just got stupider by reading this entry. Do you even think before you type this junk? I mean, I expect ridiculous garbage like this from Mariotti, but I do hold the Trib, and all those people who work for the Trib, to a higher standa…
Mariotti?? I’m glad you watch ESPN Around the Horn, but really what does Mariotti know about the Bengals, probably nothing. If you ask me I would tell you that I could win ATH everyday hands down, and even better I could even give Skip Bayless a run for his money….
